WAOA: A Tale Of A General

First topic message reminder :

-A portal opens in the middle of nowhere. A rover moves through and looks around for a few seconds. This is followed by a man in CADPAT gear, who doesn't look older than 21, weirdly. He looks around, hefting his SCAR-A1 assault rifle.-

General Scott Mitchell: Well... not sure where we are, but the air's breathable. -reaches for radio- This is Mitch, we're A-okay. The rover's not lying, we've got an inhabitable environment here. Let's get our stuff through.

(OoC: Unlike the last RP I started, anyone can join.)

The two continued to savour the moment. Several minutes later, Mitch grew restless. He then walked to the edge and looked around.

"What's wrong, Mitchy??"

"Nothing. Just wanted to look around, enjoy the view."

"Okay!" Cirno sat down and hummed to herself.

Mitch stood there, at the practical top of the world. Over to the west was the encampment.

"Looks so damn small from here..." he muttered.

(I plan on bringing the Vault Hunters into this. I'll focus mainly on Mordecai and Lilith though... You should be able to guess why.)

"What about being small down there? Wait... that's not true. Could you repeat that in a louder voice?"

Mitch turned to Cirno. "The little base camp we set up here looks frickin' insignificant if you see it from here."

"Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh."

Mitch gave another sly little smirk as he walked back to Cirno. "What did you think it meant?"

"Small. Thing. Down. There. Yeah... But then I realized that that wasn't true." :D

Mitch picked up Cirno. "You should know better." :P

"Oh, trust me, I know from experience." She gave off a naughty face.

Mitch returned the look. "I know too well..."

Cirno gave Mitch a kiss. "Quite. Sooo... what you want to do?"

Mitch thought. "I don't know. You have any ideas?"

"Hmmmm... Let's see...." Cirno stroked her chin.

Mitch waited for Cirno to finish thinking.

-2 Hours later of thinking...-

"I have an ide- No, wait, lost it. Why don't you think of something instead, Mitchy?"

Mitch facepalmed. "How about we just fly somewhere else?"

"Okay!" She hugged Mitch. "Where?"

Mitch hugged back, then thought for a second. "Hurm..." He looked out. "Anywhere's fine."

"...But that's what happened last time. How about... sitting in a tree?"

Mitch then picked out a tree. "Let's go." With that, he ran off the cliff and jumped, going into free-fall.

Cirno followed and dived even faster than Mitch. "I'm like a bird..."

Mitch continued to fall as he approached the ground. "More like a stone!"

He then used his wings and stopped, hitting the ground with an "OOF!"

Cirno took back into the air, then lightly touched down to avoid the whiplash. "You may want to open your wings earlier next time. Otherwise... splat. You okay?"
