Nevada Survival (Discussion)

So, I've got an idea about something I'd like to do, and I'm asking you guys' opinion here. ^^

So, my idea is, basically, a playthrough of Fallout: New Vegas, narrated from the character's perspective, with screenshots and stuff. This far, your average Let's Play. However, here are a couple of additional rules to make this more interesting.

1.No reloading from a previous save (Excepted in a case of a game-crippling bug)
2.You guys will get to decide what I will do at some points.
3.Death is permanent. I die, it's all over.

Now, I'd like to ask if you guys would be interested in reading this, as well as a few questions about how to do this if I start it:

-Should I activate Hardcore Mode ?
-Should I go through the tutorial ?
-Should I take the Wild Wasteland trait at character creation ?
-Should I install mods? I heard about some mods that completely overhaul the game's difficulty, and I don't know whether or not to use them.
-Also, if you have ideas for the player character (Name, gender, looks, favored skills, playstyle...) feel free to post them here.

Project Nevada is a necisity, it adds a way more detailed implant system, makes head DT dependendent on head armor, as well as many other changes, and dozzens of new weapons and items... did I mention you can get lasers implanted in your palms? Yea... you can.... WMX follows close behind, there are more I would recomend, but those are the only two NECECARY ones.

Courier, Female, Explosives Expert... Drakina expy, lots of cybernetics, energy weapons as your backup.

So, our hero makes his first steps of his new life in the Mojave Wasteland.

What will he do now? That's up to you to tell me.

That choice is kinda more important for the others, as it will somewhat set the character's priorities for a little while here ^^
