I've only played Tiberium Wars and Red alert three, the latter very little cos then my 360 decided the disk was scratching post and acted like a psychotic cat when put in the same room as said scratching post.
Enjoyed Tim Curry's acting and the whole cold war satire thing.

I liked Tiberian Sun, but the balance in RA2, not just in multiplayer but in single player is just so exquisite.
But I like pretty much the whole series except Renegade, Generals, and apparently C&C4.

Generals by its self is bad, however generals with shock wave mod is good. :) as long as it is version .95 and not one version higher. Why don't you like generals ?

Generals isn't really C&C, it's Starcraft. Between the gameplay changes to copy Blizzard and the lack of C&C's signature FMV cutscenes, it just didn't feel like Command & Conquer.

How dose it copy star craft game play wise ? I agree the lack of FMV was bad. But I think as a sepret universe it has some liberties with the resource/builder system. however messing with that in an established universe is heresy.

Specifically, the use of "builder" units, along with a lot of the "special ability" stuff that wound up getting into the later games.
But yeah, it might have been okay, but it just felt disrespectful to the franchise to play it.
