Hey, let's talk about games! What games does everyone like?

Me, I like pretty much every kind of video game except for sports and most racing games (I do like Mario Kart). For other kinds of games, I like pretty much everything. Board games, card games, tabletop RPGs, everything. I can't really afford miniatures games, though.

Some of my favorite video game series are Kirby, Sonic (I miss the old days), Fire Emblem, Command & Conquer (Red Alert especially), No More Heroes, _____ vs. Capcom (and Capcom vs. SNK), Pokemon, Super Robot Wars, Bioshock, Assassin's Creed, and Ace Attorney.

Some of my favorite traditional games are Yu-Gi-Oh, Magi Nation Duel, Arkham Horror, 7th Sea, Mutant City Blues, Munchkin, Maid RPG, Toon, and RIFTS.

I myself like the Resident Evil card game, Yugioh, Pokemon(both the card game and the video games, main ones related though). There's also Quest 64(of course!), a bit of Fire Emblem, Super Smash Bros., Digimon(second card game mostly, though the video games aren't too bad), Golden Sun, and somewhat Touhou(I like the characters, but haven't played the games).

Oh, right, I forgot to mention Super Smash Bros. on my list of favorite series.

Oh, and the closest thing I have to a favorite game ever is Earthbound.

I like Pokemon, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon (How is that game rated E?), Phantasy Star Zero, Phantasy Star Online, Phantasy Star Universe, Phantasy Star Portible, haven't played the regular Phantasy Star games, Dokapon Kingdom, Jet Set Radio Future, Harvest Mood, Rune Factory and um... that is all I can think of right now.

Oh, right! I love the original four Phantasy Star games! They were easily on par with Final Fantasy (PS1 with FF1-2, PS2 and PS3 with FF3, while PS4 rivals FF4-6 in quality).

They're great. Here's a tip for Phantasy Star II: When you get the thief character, level her to about ten, then go to Piata and enter and exit the Item Storage Room (you'll know it when you get there) until she leaves your party (meaning she swiped something). Then go home to put her back in your party, and she'll have the "Visiphone". Give it to Rolf, because the Visiphone is the best item in the game, it lets you save your game anywhere. No limits.

Yes this means Phantasy Star II was the first JRPG to allow the player to save anywhere, anytime.

Wow, really? I didn't know. I'm pretty sure Phantasy Star Online is not really a sequal, but at least set in the same world as the Phantasy Star series. I think it is from the far future, maybe.

Word Of God sets them in a different setting, but with a lot of similarities.

I know for a fact Phantasy Star Universe is in a different setting, it is just that PSO had alot of similarities, is all. But you'd probably know more than me.

Well, some Zelda games(did I mention that series earlier on my liked list, along with Mario and Mortal Kombat... and Killer Instinct...) are set in a different universe than the other(that's one theory), but they still have a lot of similarities. Besides items, that is.

My utter lack of a social life has resulted in me being an expert on video games, tabletop games, and pretty much all other forms of media. I may not know what true love is like, but darn it, I know all the cheat codes. All of them.

Eh, my social life is pretty bad. But that's because I'm playing online. Fire and Ice was boring this year, since there was barely anyone to play a game with.

Yep! I like the Forgotten Realms the most (3.5, supplemented by Pathfinder).

I don't really care for how some of my friends are so insistent that Pathfinder is "totally not D&D" as though calling it D&D is an insult. It's D&D with a bit of rebalancing, the old 3.5 content is almost totally compatible. I have all the 3.5 books. Even the Weaboo Book of Fightan Magic.

I have that too! Not Pathfinder, but almost every basic 3.5 DnD book in hard cover, except Ravenloft, and the Book of Vile Darkness. I bought that book once, read the whole thing in about 2 hours, and then returned it for Necronomicon. Er, the book of the undead? I forget, don't feel like moving. The book of vile darkness scared me...

Oh, I don't have Ravenloft. But yeah, it's Book of the Undead, I think. But yeah, I have both extreme alignment books. I actually once played a character who specialized in Leadership, using Heroes of Battle.

In one campain I am playing a Factotum 5/Chameleon 5 with a skill poin in every skill, and the other I am playing a level 1 Healer, the class from the Miniatures Handbook.

I always seem to end up playing support, even the level 10 character often fakes being a Cleric.

I do have one of the Undead-based books. Mortis Liebrum(name might be off). I have most of the Completes as well.(as in the actual book name, not the usually used ones)

I only got the Ebberon's Player's Guide for the Warforged. Fun to play with, and are quite balanced overall.

    Thanks, fixed.

    Warforged is Eberron, actually.

I always liked the idea of Warforged Bards, AKA "Medieval Soundwave".

So, anyone every play 7th Sea? I love it so much. It's about swashbuckling! Also maybe pirates, but it's not really necessary, most adventures are set on land and don't involve pirates I really think it was the card game and the title that made everyone assume it was pirates.

Uh, anyway, yeah, I'm a fan, the game is very cool.

I have every book that matters as PDFs. Even some of the Swashbuckling Adventures books (which have the absolutely terrible d20 modifications in it). Roll and Keep is still a favorite dice system of mine. I wound up meeting John Wick at a convention last October, since he lives in Arizona. He's got a bunch of other games out, I'd highly recommend Houses of the Blooded and Blood & Honor if you like relatively rules-light games that heavily promote roleplaying.
